Wooden balls are made from a special type of wood, which retains the absorbed smell for a long time. The balls can be renewed: all you have to do is put the odourless balls into a zip-lock plastic bag, add 1-2ml of special aromatic oil, and leave until the oil is absorbed into the balls.
How to use:
Hang the bag in the car/closet. Hang the bag loosely to avoid contact with painted, plastic, leather surfaces, clothing, etc.
